Keywords to get excited about!

I've been doing some KR recently and have found some ones I think are good.

I wanted to know, what do you guys get excited about?

For example, how many monthly searches do you get excited about and with what kind of competition?

For me at the moment I'm liking the ones that are around 10,000 monthly local searches with fairly low to moderate competition..

i get excited about my long tail keywords from 10-40 searches. Thousands of those things really add up

10,000 is good number of searches.I also check for cpc $1.

yea long tail keywords are the shiiznt ranking for broad keywords these days are so hard
