I believe that sites that escaped keywords stuffing have taken a hit, and sites with thin content also took a beating in the recent updates. Anyone personally experienced this?

I can confirm thin content. In addition, I noticed that websites with a lot of guest post backlinks of notorious guest posting newspapers and magazines (those hosting 10k+ guest posts) have been hit.

Were these websites stuffing keywords and were they using exact anchors that’s why they were penalised?

I made a few new sites using WP Automatic and even though my previous site was adsense approved, none of my new ones are being approved. Even though they each have over 1000 posts and over 800 words per posts with Proper headings, FAQ's, real life examples and other useful information.

Its automated by chatgpt. So I give chatgpt instructions using Wordpress Automatic but every post is different.
