Keywords question!

I'm an affiliate for a certain weight loss supplement. My affiliate manager said that if I pay for SEO and can get my landing page on the front page of Google I would be making 10k easy. After searching for the name of the product through the keyword tracker it's only getting 2541 in traffic. Does that seem right? That doesn't sound to me like it's popular enough in search volume to make me 10k a month just getting on the first page. Of course I'm new to SEO and know pretty much nothing.

Who's SEO service is the best on BHW if I wanted to get a landing page on the first page of Google? I haven't had it built yet, was going to go to Fiverr, maybe I will try here if you have any good suggestions.

Edit: Was using wrong setting. Google Adwords Keyword tool says: 9,900 avg monthly searches. 429-2.2k impressions per day.

2.5k uniques per month? That's definitely not a $10k keyword in the weight loss niche.

Let's say you're on the 1st spot on Google and let's assume that you 30% of the total searches goes to your website. So that's 2970 unique visits each month. Let's assume again that you have a 5% conversion rate, so that's 149 sales for you each month. Multiply that to your commission for each sale.

This is a really rough computation and I could be wrong.

Its difficult to make that much unless the payout if huge. Maybe your affiliate manager just wanted to motivate you a bit. Try to check the volume for other terms and you should get an idea

Commission is supposedly up to $90 per sale. I have $500 to invest in anything right now. Just wondering if I should invest in a nice site/landing page plus SEO or if it would be better to invest in something else. Been having some success reselling Twitter followers from providers on BHW, but need to create a full time income soon.

Yes it is possible to make your landing page in no 1, but again it is also depend on your niche and keyword.
