How many times do you put your main keyword your targeting in a 1000 word article? I been putting 4.

put it less times but use related and LSI keywords too, great for diversification

Assuming it's not one word, I would say 3-4 times + 5 or so LSI keywords.

yes, 4 times is good
but also use LSI keyword more than 5 times.. and definitely you will rank for more than 1 keyword with that article

I agree that about 4 times seem about right. Too much and you will be keyword stuffing.

Yes i am also accepting 1.2 to 2% is the best keyword density percentage
