Today i compared a lot of keywords between those two tools and the differences were huge. For high search and low search keywords.. Adwords was showing me low competition (less than 0.1) and revealer 50+ and vise versa. Which tool i should believe more? Probably adwords, right? But i just can't get my mind around it, that keyword with almost million searches a month is low competition (adwords showed me 0.19) and keyword i tried to target a week ago on my new website is 0,60+ in adwords, but revealer on the other hand showed me i think like 14 or 15 and when i google the keyword, websites that rank look shitty.
The Adwords competition level is not the competition level of the search engine results pages (SERPs), which is one reason why you've noticed a large discrepancy between the two. It's just the number of advertisers competing for the keywords in Adwords. In case you're wondering, the reason for the low Adwords competition level on a keyword with so many searches per month often vary depending on the keyword. For example, the keyword "Google", which receives a whopping 923 million searches a month, has a low Adwords competition level. The reason for this is because advertisers know that when people are searching for Google, they're searching for Google.com only (I'm pretty sure there's something preventing advertisers from bidding on the keyword as well, although I've never tried it). Because of this, bidding on the keyword would be pointless, hence the low competition.
i used Adwords to analyze my site, and i do not know whether it is useful to my site, because i am a beginner, about revealer, i do not use this software, so if you have no idea about which one you should choose, you can have a try.
The only way to really know level of comp in organics is the manually analyze it. Check the competitors, check their on-site SEO, backlinks, see what else they rank for... its an art.
There is no tool available in the market which gives perfect results including Google Keyword Planner Tool. You just need to analyze everything by yourself only. Check competitors On-Site SEO & Backlinks You'll get a better results from them.
yea I would go with the Google results but as the second response said I have seen certain keywords completely block any competition from actually bidding on those ads.
Agree with you. Besides, google planner not for bloggers actually. This tool google build for their advertiser. I just used it for getting some idea. Nothing else.
I think google keyword planner just gives us an insight about how popular that keyword. Another way to get the insight, COUNT the number of google suggestion keywords with keyword ignition (paid tool) or uber suggest (free). Fyi, a keyword will be suggest by Google if it hits about 1000 times in lifetime. Try it for yourself. Hope that help.
well google keywords planner shows you "adword competition/advertising competition" but the keyword revealer shows you SEO competition based on "On page SEO" and "Off Page SEO" the keyword difficulty function ingrate in Keyword Revealer is from "MOZ" so far the best keyword software is SECockpit. accurate result , far more data from any keyword research software. but yes it is Expensive $120 a month. i have a agency plan of this tool if you need to access i will give you access of this tool. Have a great day

I use Google Adwords Planner to find keywords and check their search volume. I then use the keywords in Keyword Revealer for further insight Plus other tools like Majestic and Semrush!
