i have some confusion runnin in my mind currently
hope i cud get some help

let's take for an example
if i search for one stop dock in google, i get 1, 750, 000 searches
does it mean that if i have a domain which is onestopdock.com or .org will make me indexed on d 1st page?

i'm not quite sure what your trying to say, do you know how to do seo? and don't you mean 1,750,000 search results? can you plz explain better!

First of all those 1,7 million are not searches.
They are results and your competitors.

To find out if you're going to be numero uno only the 1st ten are interesting.
If they're strong authority sites....forget it.

When weak...it's worth it but you still need to understand how to make your site rank for that keyword.

Having the exact keyword phrase in your url will help a lot. Additonally, you will want to include the keyword in your meta tags, header tags and content. Go out and build a few links with anchor text with your targeted keywords and you shouldn't have a problem getting indexed in the front page. Like blackhit said, if they are strong authority sites, you may have a problem making front page.

And also understand how to monetize for that particular keyword. See if you have affilliates that have an adequate product or a good PPC on adsense.

No but it might. Having the exact search phrase in the domain helps ALOT. I've had many websites rank #1 just by having the keyword in the domainname, it's that powerful.

Yep, domain name can affect a lot for how you rank on google.

BUT. You have to optimize the on page and off page SEO factor of that domain name.

I have several sites that rank at the first page of google among 500.000 to 1.000.000s competitions using domain name that exactly the same as keywords I am targetting.
