do keyworded domains with dashes still hold weight in google? or is it better to kind of brand your own domain name with maybe one keyword in it?

thanx pal...what about tld? i know .info. i guess we swould prefer .com then .net on to .org?

You should go with .com then .org then .net

Organizations (.org) in my experience rank higher than .net

Dashes seem to work fine for me.
I've some domains with dashes ranking in Top 5 for very competitive keywords.

I find they take more effort but they still work. I prefer no dashes over dashes but if you can only get the dashed version then take it. I will only do this for .com,.net and .org all other tld's have sucked for me
