In my experience it's usually inflated, sometimes by bit, sometimes by a lot. Get two extensions "Keyword Surfer" (FREE) and "Keywords Everywhere" (PAID, only $10 for a ton of credits). Then compare the volumes and make an educated guess.

It’s not check on Semrush, Ubersuggest to get a fair idea and for competition always check manually

Try Google Adwords for the better keyword search volume and am not recommended other seo tools

I think average of multiple tool, gives some about accuracy

For me it's accurate.. SEmrush does same. But i like Ah refs competition difficulty. : )

I think it is quite accurate, you also have to look ate the clicks, for example you could have 1 search term with 8k search volume and 9k clicks on the results, and a nother could be 8k volume with 6k clicks on the results

I think it differs from niche to niche.
In my niche for example, Ahrefs is not accurate at all. Sometimes you can get 600 monthly clicks from KW that reports 0 or 10 monthly searches in Ahrefs...
Instead of relying on tools, try to use common sense. Learn something about the niche of your choice, and, looking at different keywords, think whether people can be realistically looking for them.

Just as any other tools, it's an estimate.
Cross check between multiple tools for more clarity. I favour Ubersuggest and kwfinder for the same.
