I recently started with a new niche which of course lead to a large influx in searches using the adwords keyword tool. Before I even finished my research my account was flagged for fraudulent activity for what I can only assume was my searches being seen as spam.

Does anyone know if there is a limit to the amount you can use the keyword tool per day/week? Has anyone ever run into the same problem I'm having?

There is no limit as such to the number of searches. It could have been flagged for a numerous other reasons. If you could explain your problem in a little more detail someone might have a better chance of answering it though..

There is no limit with the Adwords Keyword Tool as long as you are not running any automated stuff or bot, you should be fine with it.

When you make an adwords account you get access to their keyword planner

There wasn't much more info to give I was manually searching for keywords until I stopped receiving results and unable to log into my account. Customer support said that it was an issue unrelated to my account but I will reply back if it happens again.

Hm weird. Doesn't sound like a ban or anything. I do a lot of searches each day without paying for Adwords so I think there is no limit to the amount of searches you can do.

Yeah, either that or SerpStat. Or if you're US-based try Long Tail Pro

Sure, both have free trials. Serpstat can be also assessed by it's freemium version.

It happened to me a few times recently, you have nothing to worry about (assuming their all of your searches were actually have been done manually and not by using a bot).
Just wait a few hours and it'll come back as usual :)
