noticed in the past few updates that sites with keyword stuffing are randomly hitting top spots and staying there for a while. Seems like the last update over the past month has even'd out and there are keywords in my niche filled with keyword stuffed pages sitting in top spot simply for their PR / AR, yet have dick all for quality backlinks, except for on the domain itself. This pertains to a sub-page on a page like 'craigslist' / directory where you can post, and it's completely dominating my sape/high quality tiers, etc.

That certainly sucks. How long have they been sitting at the top, and where has it left you? I'd usually be loath to recommend reporting someone, but if all they're doing is keyword stuffing then it's BS that you can put the hard yards in and get nowhere and they just waltz on with their churned-out stuff.

yeah, there are sites skipping the penalty.. it sucks imo when your sites are hurt.. but thats life

I've seen the same thing! I did local pages for a site years ago e.g. "We serve (city) for your needs. Please contact us in (city) for awesome services" ETC... I used the same content, just changed the city name. I got slapped fast and it took 2 months to come back. My competitor did the same thing about 2 months ago and he is #1-#2 for all the city phrases. I hope he gets slapped ASAP!

If this kind of blatant dup content can last for another month or so, I'm gonna build a dup content site for every city in america!

why are you complaining? You should get in touch with those owners and ask them how they do it.

I am sure you can also get benefits

Dude. It won't last. If it's been hit before it will probably be hit again. The only benefit will be a -500 penalty! IMO

I know mate. I just commented to draw attention that this technique could be used for hit-and-run sites.

Im seeing the same stuff over here too.
much more in to co.uk though.
