It was last night yes.Glad this thread has opened a new way of thinking for myself and others.
I feel like the good kid in class whose paid attention and its paid off.
Is BHW having some major glitches or is it just me?
Hey Zack, I hope I am not a burden but would it be the same if you use a ton of keywords in your description as opposed to your ALT tag? How big would the difference be? Isn't description being checked out by google as well?
Hoping to comprehend what's going on and maybe edit a few big money posts and see how it goes. Really curious what you think man.
Well like you my friend, I am testing ideas.
Do you mean putting keywords in the image description or in your text body ?
The issue with putting too many keywords in your text body is it will look like keyword stuffing and will likely read unnatural.
I *think* the bots look at images different, they can't see the image so they read it. They can't judge if it's being stuffed or not.
This just my opinion of course.
I only noticed because some of the people who I'm after knocking off the top spot have done the same. Yet their on page SEO is crap.
Hey Zach, thank you for the insight. I meant when you are editing the image, there are title, caption, ALT Tag. and Description tabs to be filled.
The description tab lets you put up to 300 words in it I think. Clearly, no one is sane enough to write a paragraph for every image, but putting the keywords in the description doesn't seem like a crazy idea (anymore)
Do you see your competitors using the same alt tag on all their images with no penalty? Do they only use it once per image or actually "stuff" it repetitively?
Clearly, no one is sane enough to write a paragraph for every image
You are madmanI do it all the time.
You are madman
As I said, Madman. It takes less than 2 minutes to set up the image SEO in total and I usually have one image every 700 words and my average post on my money sites is in the 1500 or so word range although I have some well over 3,000 words so the time is really negligible.
As I said, Madman.
How many money sited do you own? (From the ones I know I can see you don't update regularly)
How the hell do you manage them? Especially if you write a paragraph for every picture? From what I've seen they are not that visually "interesting" so that saves you time & you don't update regularly but still...About 20 legit money sites these days... I sold off a bunch over the past 2 - 3 years as I'm dialing back.
I still have a bunch of others I use for SM spamming but I don't do any SEO to them.

Never thought of voice to text, you just changed my world...I'm pretty sure you have not seen the sites I work but rather the ones I use for SM spamming but I'm far from someone who can make a site look nice.
They are not hosted on the same hosting account as my publicly known ones.
I can "write" a 1500 word article in 15 - 20 minutes using voice to text and then clean up the minor errors. The Image SEO is done the same way, voice to text.

What are you using now?It is not perfect but it saves a basket load of time. You'll need to edit it after the fact, do some grammar adjustments, format it a bit and what not but it is super quick and I know a lot of guys here use that process as well.
I think I started using Dragon back in 2009/2010 and it was pretty poor as it had lots of errors but the newer versions are real good.
