Keyword snatching program recommendations for the local market

Trying to compete against other trade service contractors in my local area. Some rank better and I heard there is a bunch of programs to see their links, keywords, etc....

I am trying to compile a keyword list for electrical contractors and electricians. This is for myself.

Would Semrush be what I am looking for to whip up a list for my local market? Or something else?

a hrefs have a backlink checker which can show you another domains backlink profile and general SEO power. Pretty sure solutions like Moz provide the same level of depth as well. Moz features a 60 (or 90?) day free trial and a href provides 1 domain check/day/i.p. Hope I helped.

first check if your local search engine is available in semrush. And yes it would be great to find keywords for which your competitors are ranking.

You could try adwords too.
