keyword search volume too much different, which to believe?

Neither of them are right, you just have to decide if you wish to go after the keyword because it has some traffic or not.

semrush says 110 but
ahrefs 10??
wft??

which one should I believe?
I thought the same thing a long day ago. There is no high accuracy in the SEO tools.

But now I am researching the keywords with the tools like SEMRush, ahrefs etc.

Then sort out the list of keywords with the help of Google simulator/ real SE.

It takes much time, but almost helps to confirm the kws.

Yeah that always happens. Try to narrow your research even more if that is relevant to your business.

KWFinder is a little more accurate but you have to take all with a pinch of salt. Ignore difficulty in Ahrefs, that is complete rubbish, better to simply look at the current top 10 to get an idea of difficulty or combine that with a tool like KWFinder.

Nat a big fan of metrics but I would check across other tools too mangools, ubersuggest, serpstat, keywordrevealer (most of them have a free plan with limited searches).
Surferseo chrome extension is also good option.
Check the trends data and it's relevance also it's important.
You can also use googles advanced search operators to your advantage.
