Hey guys,

I'm trying to find keywords for my website and I found this great tool known as Keyword Revealer (KR).

I decided to make a website about video games.

I'm thinking about using the keyword "gaming" but want to know whether that's too difficult to rank.

According to KR, "gaming" has 74,000 monthly searches. The Keyword Difficulty is 80, and KR gives me the message "Do not even think about it!"

I compiled the averages of the statistics of the Top Ten in that query.

Page Authority
: 79.8
Domain Authority: 91.1
Backlinks: 239399
Page Rank: 5.5

My first guess would be that this keyword is too difficult. In that case, which Keyword Difficulty should you try to rank in?

Are there any tools out there for suggested keywords?

Thanks in advance.

start with 20-35 and move up if you succeed .

moz , rank-tracker , market samurai . each have their own algo for determining difficulty , mostly inaccurate .

It's very tough competition! I use Long tail pro (it's paid though) but working so far great to me -- I select below criteria to go with any low competition kw.

The first 10 results (At least, 6 results match the below criteria)

- PA less than 40

- DA less than 70

- On Page Factor

- Back links Factor (Check manually)

Switch to long tail pro and look for keywords with a KC (Keyword Competitiveness) of 30 or less. Then do the usual top 10 sites analysis to make sure you aren't going up against high authority pages.

Find keyword with low competition it's 15-25
