What is the best way to perform keyword research.
I have Market Samauri which is very good but im just wondering if theres any other ways which are better?

Traffic Travis can give you the overview then you can brush it up with some manual checking.

SERPIQ isn't too bad if you take a look at the important metrics as well.

Personally I use SEMRush, Traffic Travis, SERPIQ, GKT and some manual checking. That seems to be all I need.

All of them are free except SERPIQ.
 
Everyone is using the standard keyword research tools and the result is you end with the same keywords/sites and more competition.

The best keyword tool is your brain. After that you can use the standard keyword tools everyone uses.
 
I agree with BeatTheStreet.

Don't expect any tool will do everything for you, but use tools to be faster and more efficient.

That's still not free, as UltraLink said.
 
UltimateNicheFinder in combination with KeywordBlaze and Traffic Travis.
I use UNF to do all the research and come up with the good keywords, and use KB and TT to verify results and get more insight in the details of a difficulty score.
Works wonders
 
Google Keyword Tool has a lot of good stuff in it. NEver underestimate that. I think of a niche, type it in. It gives you other suggestions and now it will tell you what the KW trends relating to that niche are. What's increasing, whats decreasing, etc.

Yes,but you can miss a lot of keywords that are available on google suggest only :)
 
It sounds some orthodox but Google Keywords tool is the best , it give ideas and detailed info about keyword. If used wisely it can be proven better than the paid ones.:)

What is GKT?
 
I use rank tracker . I think its one of the best tools out there for keyword research . Theirs a crack of the software floating some where around here .
 
semrush (to see what keywords you're ranking for) or rank tracker (scrapes google keyword tool, checks competitions, calculates KEI, etc.)
