How do people find good products to market for?

I'm struggling with a lot being too low traffic

you just have to keep looking. It takes time to find yourself a good niche. Use the tools avalable like google keyword tool.

If there is more practice, then everything will be fine. Keep working with other keywords.

The term low traffic depends on many variables. The keyword "pictures of Justin Bieber" is high traffic but virtually worthless.
"Buy Sony Plasma TV" is much lower traffic but very valuable, the searcher is ready to buy! If you could get 200 of those visitors a month you would be able to convert quite a few for a decent income.
That may be the place to start, i.e. search for some new products in Amazon and research those keywords. You need to start somewhere, it is all part of the learning curve.
