Hi guys, long time without been in the game, what are you guys using now to generate long tail keyword and analyze the competitiveness of a keyword?, also any tool to find ouf bunch of long tail that my competitor is ranking for?

Semrush and ubbersugest are both free and can help you with rhat. Ahrefs , long tail pro are paid tool that can also help you with that

Good recommendations @swik. I'm also trying to get some good long tail keywords. The challenge I'm facing is getting accurate monthly search volumes. Semrush, Keywords everywhere and kwfinder are giving me different figures. I'm very confused. I don't know which tool I should trust.

Sure you'll get some variations. I like to try them all. Most of the time I finish by using the same 2-3 tools.

I use ubersuggest to do some research on my competitors, but I never take seriously the numbers especially for the monthly searches for a keyword. I'm pretty sure there is no tool to tell you the exact number of searches. Only Google knows that and they keep it hidden

touche' well played, ya def use adwords kw tool for a deeper ref point o_O uber for bulk suggests to input

Competitors website, SEMRUSH & AHREFS. Nothing more than that is needed for me.

http://answerthepublic.com on top of what is listed here.

SEMrush and Ahrefs.

  1. Make a list of your competitors then analyze them one by one.
  2. Generate list of keywords from each.
  3. Merge those lists.
  4. Remove duplicates.

SEMrush, Ahrefs, KWFinder
