Hi gurus here, anyone using Keyword Elite from Brad Callen? How is it compare to Market Samurai, which one is better? Im going to invest my money either one of them.
Please give me some review.

My keyword research process:

  1. Go to Google Adwords Keyword tool and enter the keywords you are looking to target. Start with more general keywords and filter out keywords to get more specific/relevant. Make to set the match type to [exact].
  2. Export the list into excel, sort by monthly searches and delete all the keywords that are not relevant.
  3. Take your top keywords and put them in SEOmoz's keyword difficulty tool to see how competitive the keywords are. You need a Pro account for this but you can do the 30 day free trial.
If you do this you'll end up with a relevant list of keywords that have the monthly searches and *accurate* competition. After that just pick the keywords that have high searches and low competition.

I've never use Keyword Elite yet. What is it? For what task is it good?
I like Semrush, because of huge number of quality keywords, not crappy ones. And it's more convinient to me to have an online tool to use in my seo tasks.

LOL I swear this site can read minds of something.. I was just going through my hdd and ran across seo elite and keyword elite from Brad Callen and decided to pull them out and give them a go.. Never used them before but now looks like a better time than any..

Keyword Elite has a very crummy backend... I don't think they update very often. Market Samurai is even worse nowadays, it's always lagging, and the information it offers is completely BOGUS. I've gotten some CRAZY stats with MS (makes you wonder if it isn't all just well-marketed hype)... Anyways, I think Ozone100 has the right idea. That method he described is probably a lot more accurate.

Thank you for all your response. I found many bad review of Keyword Elite. And read about MS getting slower (lagging) now.
Please give more review coming in.

Keyword research is trending strong to subscription services offering secure online tools as Google kills off desktop apps use of its data.

Can you say "Sayōnara Market Samurai"! Bye-bye.

I just got an email today from link-assistant and they were talking about how market samurai is going to a subscription based system for their rank tracking and also they are going to be using bing now instead of google.

I know MS is very well known and people like it alot but this has to be pretty bad for them.

They said in their blog post that MS is paying 10,000 USD per month on backlink data to majestic SEO

Look for a new tool coming out soon by Jon Leger called something to do with a big dog or something.. I saw the sales video and it was the best keyword tool I've ever seen

Know the source of the tool's data before you buy. It could be Dogpile for all you know.

I use Adwords keyword tool. It is the best way to do the research there as Google is the main search engine in the web now. So, Google adwords keyword toll will show you the clear picture of all the keywords and their positions and popularity.

my best keywords research tool is my brain ! you can find keywords using your brain if you know where to start your deep research , about programs serps attack pro good choice too .

I gotta say +1 for Keyword Scout for me as well. That bad boy is definitely something you have to have in your arsenal.

Personal preference: Buying specified research from a reputable seller on BHW. Then again, I'm a lazy arse.

+1 for Josh's Keyword scout and also Ultimate Niche Finder by Clyde
Both are easy to use and have good results .

Yeah, I also agree.

I use both these softwares and I love it.

Plus, the free membership for uNiches which comes along with the Ultimate Niche Finder software is a huge bonus.
