    Hey guys,

i m me currently doing my keyword research. I had generated about 20 keywords with low competition and quite high search volume (I believe).

what I m not sure is how donee know if the keyword has low competition? I have read that we should not trust GKP, I see mix arguments, one says I should check the GKP criteria such as impression, monthly search and CPC; check the total search result; or do a in title/in anchor search of the keyword. Do I need tondo all three tasks? I tries to do all three but the results are so mixed that I cannot make sense of which keyword is better than other.

Do you guys know how to make sense of all these info? E.g. Which criteria is the most important?

I have been using keywordrevealer.com for keyword volume search, many of my scraped keyword (by scrapped box) comes up with no search volume, and most competitive keyword has couple thousand search per month, is this normal? I expect the search volume much more than this, or I picked the wrong keyword? (I used scrapebox to generate 3k keywords)

Don't look at adwords planner competition, because it's for adword ads.
Take a look at how many people uses the exact phrase in their title and url.
Also check who are in TOP10 places with tool such as market samurai or long tail pro.

you can check competition though few tools like "Traffic travis" or other. Mainly you can go to google and see the physical top 10 results and see, their stats, Like how old are they , how many back links are pointing to them and based on it, you can gauge competition ..

A lot of people might not trust Google keyword planner, but that is what I have been using for years now. It may not be 100% accurate, but it is what works best for me. However, I would recommend that you track the keywords your traffic is using, if you want to be extra-sure about your choices on keywords.
