I believe I have found a pretty nice EMD keyword and have been researching using Google Keyword Tool. However, I need to know something before purchasing

My question is about keywords with appostrophe's.

Let's say the the EMD domain I found is: letsgotothekitchen.org

I get different results in Google Keywords depending on how I spell "Let's"

Here are the results (LMS = local monthly US search):

lets go to the kitchen
Competion: Med
LMS: 880
CPC: $2.93

let s go to the kitchen
Competion: Med
LMS: 3600
CPC: $3.40

let's go to the kitchen
Competion: Med
LMS: <10
CPC: $3.88

My question is: What is the difference between these terms? And how would I go about ranking it?

Also, what is the deal with the space? Who writes "let s" when they search? Why would "let s" get more local searches than "lets" or "let's"? Ideally, I want to target the one with 3600 local US search, but I don't want to set all my titles and keywords to be spelled ass backwards like "let s".

Anyways, any input is greatly appreciated. I love to to pick this up ASAP, I just want to know what I'm getting myself into.

Last one is grammatically correct. The other two phrases are the misspelled version. A lot of people misspell and many IMers target them.

I understand that, but how can 3600 people misspell the word every month and 880 misspell it another way, but less that 10 search it correctly?

It makes no sense. I mean, I know there are a lot of stupid people out there, but that is just absurd.

I'm guessing the one with the space is actually people searching with the ', but Google Keyword tool doesn't display it correctly for some reason... probably a mysql thing when they store the keywords.

I don't know. I'm just grasping at straws at this point.

I'm pretty sure that's it

I just ran the following keyword: My brother's wife

Got the following results:

my brother's wife: 140
my brothers wife: 1600
my brother s wife: 2400

So the appostrophe spelling in the Adwords tool must be replaced by " s"

Weird.

Anyways, looks like I figured it out. I went ahead and purchased the domain.

I figure I can play on the term with and without the apostrophe and try to rank for both terms, for a total of 4480 local US search with a $3+ CPC.

Thanks anyways guys. You can now let this thread sink and die ;)
