I've been using different tools for keyword research. I'm pretty new at this still so bare with me here.

i've been using keyword tool from Google to help me find similar keywords to my original word. I look at the views and competition etc. I realize that google's competition scale is based on the Adwords usage(I think).

i then look up the words on wordtracker and it sometimes has different views. But then I look at their competition level (in decimal form). I then look at the stats on semrush and it'll sometimes have a different competition level. i do know hat wordtracker uses sem Rush I believe for some of their stats.

my question is: why do different places give different numbers for views and competition level. Which one do I trust. I'm still in trial version for wordtracker and sem Rush. I'm still open for options as to what keyword research tool to look into.

Many tips or suggestions? And how accurate are the numbers on wordtracker? Comp level, iaat, and "kei"
