I have been keyword researching all day today. I came up with a 9 letter domain which can have mutiple related meanings. And when I buy country domains like .us along with it, it would to really make sense. Is this really good?

What I am confused is how google interprets the domain name. Example. wordrag.com. Here the combinations of "word", "drag", "rag" dont really make sense, but this is just example.

Well.. i would think.. google will do it with "results". I dont know.

"word" got way more exact results as "drag".

I dont know the right answer. :-D

Google doesnt need to interpret your domain name, you're controlling how it will be interpreted.
It can be either Word Rag or Wor Drag, depending on the anchor text in your backlinks and your title.

Code:
<a href="wordrag.com">Word Rag</a>

Code:
<a href="wordrag.com">Wor Drag</a>

It cant be Word Drag, for that you'll need worddrag.com

Ok. I think I will give buy a cheap domain and experiment a bit. Will post my results once I am done with it.

Pretty Simple - Google Interprets It Based On Your Sites Content.

With things like that it will come down to the content you put on the site... If you try to make your content such that you rank for them all you will rank for none of them...

Good luck...

Yeah as the above replies suggested, It depends on the anchor you put in the title.

Yep. That is exactly what I am going to do. The EMD would revolve around 3 different things about a thing A. And all these things are included in the domain name.
