Hey,

Hope you're all doing well.

Newbie alert - I know very little about keywords and ranking and am looking for advice.

I'm getting a little overwhelmed on a new project. I want to start a project where I search for some keywords and aim to rank for these and gain organic traffic and earn money from AdSense.

I have a small understanding that you can go to Google Trends or use tools such as Ubersuggest but I don't know how to generate a good list and structure the posts on my website.

For example, you can easily find that COVID-19 is a huge topic on Google Trends, you can further break this down to specific searches e.g. "When is COVID expected to end?".

But how would you go about picking the specific searches and structuring related posts on your website? This is the point in which I am getting stuck and overwhelmed.

Can anyone advise a good way to proceed or link to some good discussions on the forum for me to begin that they may have read and found useful before?

I've managed to teach myself from scratch how to get a WordPress site up and running for the cost of simply buying the Domain thanks to this forum (if anyone wants me to include steps for that just comment below, very happy to share the steps but this may be simple to most of you).

Thank you if you've read this far.

You are correct about the way your think about breaking keyword subject/niche down.

That clased as longtail keywords.

If you use google trends will tell you the traffic they get monthly.

The problem what hard is to find free is the difficulty the keyword is, to beat in the Google algo.

That where ahreff and other apps come in place.

Free apps are good but being honest paid apps are better.

Good luck .

I'm interested in these topics, I'm trying to learn, but I end up getting lost in so much information
