So when doing keyword research I have found some Google search results for my keywords show tiktoks, gumtree posts and quora on page 1. Does this indicate my blog post is more likely to rank for these keywords as these sites are present on page 1 or does it have no difference? I'm sure I heard @shaunmarrs mention the presence of quora on p1 was a great indicator

Be aware that if Tiktoks are there, there could be some kind of intention behind that (a new intention that Google is testing and discovering). So basically this "new intention" if popular and useful for users, can make regular websites harder to rank.

So by default don't take for granted that it is easier to rank with such results.

If there are videos in to 3 avoid it as intent is to watch video not read wall of text else go for it.

Previously you could rank easily if more forums or social media sites show up in the SERPs but now it's completely different. You may or may not rank.

Don't know about tiktok.
But I take quora pages as a good sign.

Whenever I see those sites in SERPs, I definitely write article on that topic. Quora can be easily outranked, in my experience.
