Keyword requirements for Amazon niche website

Hey all im about to start my first amazon niche website, and did a lot of research on keywords. I filtered it down to 20 specific keywords/niches but im kinda in the dark on how to analyze it which one is best?

So i wonder how you all judge a keyword. Like whats good/bad. Which stats to pay attention on specially for an amazon niche website.

Local searches : 1500-?
EMD: .com only?
Keyword competitiveness: <35?
Competition: medium-high?

Anything else which is important?

I got one 90k searches, .com, 34 keyword compete, high comp. with first 4 results being google authority. But also have one with 12k searches .com 24 keyword compete. Whicht is better and why?

Concentrate on "user experience".

What is the niche of your website? What is the main keyword? There should be a tree of keywords that naturally branch off from that and which people expect to see.

As for the metrics, let's put it this way. I have 3,000 keywords for my website (40 odd pages) in Semrush. I am number 1 for a keyword that has just 140 searches. It converts almost every day and the LSI (variations of the keyword) are also in the 1 - 5. Again, with searches of only a few hundred. Yet these are my most popular pages and make several hundred dollars a month...

For example, if you find a keyword with low competition that has good buyer intent "Discount Blue Widgets on Wheels" it might only have 90 searches a month, but it could convert well.

My advice (and I'm far from an expert) is concentrate on the main keyword / theme. Write the 10 / 20 articles then analyze where you are in the SERPs and go from there.
