Hello, I have a competitor who ranks immediately for a keyword, like we both auto post, yet he ranks Instantly, i usually have to wait for days before coming to first page and it's not a hard keyword, like long tail keywords with no difficulty.

So I want to know how to also rank immediately for a keyword after being indexed. Thanks.

Optimize your headings.
Insert keywords in page URLs.
Write keyword-rich page content.
My headings are optimised for the keyword, same with the slug.

As for content, I would dare say mine is better than his, yet he ranks immediately straight to #1 yet I'm no where to be found on the serp unless I use a parasite and expect to be in #3 by the next day

First analyze your competitor site to know their strategy and according to that, plan your strategy for building links

I think he has an older an established domain and maybe he builds backlinks .Try to check competitor backlinks and build some backlinks

Most sites that index quickly and retain rankings are the one that have covered numerous topics around their niche and have a good authority(Not necessary Moz DA).

While we generally don't rank quickly and our rankings are unstable for a couple of days or weeks because of limited content coverage and authority.

First, Go to https://www.similarweb.com

Check your similar website or competitor's sites to learn their policy, planning, and keyword research according to that, plan your strategy or create strong backlinks. Strong keyword

Maybe your competitor has a strong backlink profile. Do competitor research and try to build some quality backlinks.

Okay, thanks, I would, their domain age is around 3k and mine is just above a year

Search low compition keywords...

Your competitor may have some strong backlinks and high quality articles. Analyze the competitors strategy and add more links from high authority sites.

Get your onsite fixed and get going with some good backlinks , they would work good !

Your competitor might have an aged domain. Also, well-optimized on-page and has a strong backlink profile. Examine your competitors' strategies and implement the things your website lacks.
