Hello

When i started with website, i decided to put content as static homepage for this keyword.. The keyword begin to rank for homepage which was good... Later i decided to change from "page" to "post" type and removed it from the static homepage... In the past i was sending backlinks to homepage for that keyword.. But now the website is still ranking for that keyword for homepage and not inner page? What i need to do, to change google to start ranking that post and not homepage for that keyword ? Do i need to send more backlinks to that inner page ?

Or is better to just leave it and send more backlinks to homepage ?

When you manage to rank well, making significant changes to the page can be a bad decision. It's a classic rookie mistake. I think that you should make the page as it was before (check the cached google page if you don't remember), otherwise you will most likely lose your rankings on the next update since your "post" doesn't show on the static homepage anymore. Just my opinion, hope it helps.

Cheers!

I made this change about around nov-december 2016... The rankings are still stable. But the only thing i don't like is that keyword ranking for homepage, which is now "latest posts" layout and not inner page, that i want actually rank for that keyword.

For as long as it's still ranking, it's all good :) Why do you care which page it is?

I don't know..Maybe you are right and i'm complicating this to much.. I will just keep sending backlinks to my naked url optimised for this keyword and that's it.. :) It's ranking now at #12 to #8.

Just continue to work on your inner page.

Keep the future in mind.

One day, the homepage will be dropped from the serps and your inner page will come in.
All those old links built to the homepage are still good for overall authority.
