Hey Guys,

I know this has been asked a million times - I've searched the threads but haven't found a definitive answer!!

I recently started work on one of my sites for 4 specific keywords. I have previously use SEScout and Rankerizer to track the rank of my keywords - both are freeware and both seem mediocre.

What is THE best keyword rank tracker? It doesn't have to be free but seeing as I'm only tracking 4 keywords right now I dont want to be paying huge sums each month.

http://www.micrositemasters.com/ - using them for client sites and never had any issues.

The BEST, would have to be SEO Moz's tool. However the smallest package is a hefty price. SERPBuddy is a great alternative.

I'll use SerpBook.com - it's a payed service, but very cheap, and their ranking are spot on. Even notification when big changes in rankings happen to your sites. Also ability to send your clients a whitelabel url with their rankings, pdf reports and monthly excel reporting to your email.. very good service!

(I am not affiliated with this service, but it's just awsome)

Rank Tracker is a one off price. I like it on a Windows dedi and have it set to a schedule. Anytime I want to check ranking it's just rdp into the server and view the report. All automated and simple. I'd recommend buying the whole suite. A lot of tricks you can do with the other tools.

Another vote for Rank Tracker, they have a free version that lasts forever but just can't save. Screenshot the results everyday you run it.

I personally use SerpBook to deliver all of my reports to my clients.

For tracking just 4 keywords, i think AuthorityLabs lets you keep tracking up to 10 keywords after your 30 day free trial expires. Rank Tracker (link-assistant.com) has a free version, but it doesn't let you save the project. If you just keep a spreadsheet, you shouldn't need to buy it. You may also be able to instructions on how to get the enterprise level free here on BHW.
