keyword rank check

Hi,

I was checking keyword position and came across enclosing quotation.
ex. "keyword phrase" and surprisingly it has different search results. (from google search keyword phrase to "keyword phrase")

I am looking for explanation in this, I hope someone in this forum can help me out.

What is the best way to check keyword position with or without the quote?

there are three types of keywords
keyword - this is known as broad keyword
"keyword" - this is known as phrase
[keyword] - this is known as exact keyword

so, if search with these three types the same keyword you will get different results

thanks. I see that it will get different results. In SEO practices checking your keyword rank position what should I use with quotation marks or not?

never paid any prior importance to it because these terms are to know the worth of the keyword the users don't put keywords with quotes or square brackets.

You don't check ranks by searching with quotation marks because hardly any users do when searching. But you should be using a rank checker tool anyway and not just doing it yourself by hand because you can get incorrect results, for example, google can place your website higher up just because you have visited your site while signed into google.
