Keyword proximity is the combination of the density of a keyword and the prominence. So proximity looks at the location of the keyword in the sentence and how often it's beinvery one knows that Content is king in seo. For getting maximum from our content we have to take care for Keyword density, Keyword proximity and keyword prominence.g used in that sentence and also takes into account the distance between them.

In Simple, keyword proximity is distance between the keywords. Google intended "keyword proximity" to avoid cloaking/stuffing/crappy content. Important factor in content optimization.
Note: Google bots are now trying to understand the local language (i.e - To know for what intention/purpose the content has created). the bots are trying to understand "What a real person feels? when reading the content".
Remember: Bots doesn't find time to read all the texts from A-Z. It reads based on the keywords and the surrounding words. So why the term "spun content" is not dead.
