Hi guys,

I am not sure if this thread should be posted here, but just a quick question, Does anyone know how to use the keyword planner for free without making a billing account on google adwords. A while ago it was possible to use the keyword planner without it.

Google Keyword Planner is still free. You don’t have to run an active campaign to use the tool. But you’ll need to fully set up an Adwords account. Just follow the prompts, enter some information about you and your business, and you’re in.
 
I myself didnt try it, but from what I read here, at least you got an "Active" campaign, you will not get "exact searches" of your keywords right? Or do i miss sth here?

As if this is your question:

1) the method is exist, I read a blog post from cloudliving, says you can set up two accounts, assign one as account manager above another one, then you can get sneak in the "old day" keywords searches, go to search this method, as I already tell you the site.

2) forget the keyword planner, go to giveaway section now, someone just shared the seogroupbuy.com free account 8 hours ago, and you can use that to enter Google keyword tool as you were!
 
GKP is still free, but the exact results are available for those who have Gad account. I advise you not to be greedy and use ahrefs keywords explorer 2.0 (it is paid)

Keyword Planner is still free and working but the only problem is they no longer display Search Volume but just the range like 100K – 1M.

Also SEOBook got a free keyword tool, so if you are having problems with Google, then it might be worth a try.
 
Its totaly free to use Planer

Just signup for AdWords
And directly use Keyword Planner

If you need a free one, then use keywords everywhere extension for your browser.
just search the keyword and you'll get the search count along with CPC.

the one you guys posted is extremaly slow, and the one i used with similar matches to the one u guys shared but instant results no waiting couple minutes was taken down today.
Any quick free tools?
 
If you want volume from Adwords you can try Mondovo's Bulk Search Volume tool, the data is from Adwords and you can get volume for words in any language and location. It is the exact volume and not the volumes in ranges that you get from a free Adwords account. Also, each report costs only 20 cents but with the free trial you get credits using which you can run multiple reports without any cost.
 
Yeah, Google KW tool has changed, so unless you have an active account it doesn't seem to show actual figures just approx, 100-1000 kind of thing, which is not much help. There are plenty of keyword tools out there, I have used SEMRush to get keyword searches in the past, but others may have their own favourite tools.
