im not sure if im doing the google dance or if perhaps i have a penalty for a keyword i was pushing for a fiverr gig url. i seem to be able to find my gig under other keywords but now its disappeared for almost a month now. im trying to understand weather i should stop or continue link building at this point? anyone care to comment on this?

if your site not listed in top 100 it may facing dance, but if your site listed between 50-100, it may -50 penalty.
keep build backlink and diversify anchor text. built some backlinks with non-anchor text backlinks (hard URL) and anchor text without the target keywords (e.g. check out this site, Sony camcorder site etc.)

I am having a similar issue. I did a gig on fiverr and i went from 24-166 over night and have been down there since barely moving. Who did you use in fiverr?
sorry i meant i have a fiverr gig of my own that ive been link building and pinging possibly too much that my main keyword isnt showing up on google but showing up on other search engines. my secondary keywords are doing just fine. im thinking of getting 50 edu links and 150 bookmarks. idk if that will help me.

Stick it out and build some more links. My best current site that is now #1 on google disappeared completely for about a month. It then came back at around #4, hovered for a week or two and is now #1 ever since. Have patience, work on some other sites or build a new one while you wait. All good things take time.
