Keyword in Domain vs. High TF / CF?

Which do you think would rank better in Google?

A brand new site with the keyword in the domain (Not EMD); example, keyword is "trees" and domain is LogicTrees.com or a random domain name, such as ThisExample.com that has a high TF / CF?

They would both be targeting the same keyword.

Hey OP,
New domains nowadays start off in a 2-3 month waiting period, it depends on a case by case basis but is an anti-spam measure Google put into place.

So if you already have an aged domain then by all means use that, it will shave off a good amount of time off the ranking time-frame!

for g00gle - high TF/CF , for all other search engines in case you care to rank on them - the PMD

No, it would just be a random domain, but the articles would targeting the same keyword.

I guess it's still the best option. Even better if the domain / backlinks were niche specific.
