Hello good people of bhw. Am just wondering, would this be an overkill? Exact match keywords usage in a 2000 words article would be 3 to 4 times at most.

    Example:

    Keywords: Best Dog, Dog Reviews
Title: The Best Dog Reviews - Doggystyle.com
    url: www.doggystyle.com/best-dog-reviews
Meta: Find the best dog for your bae. Our dog reviews will give your bae a lifestyle she needs.

Looking for to see some replies!

its way to less.. keep it around 1.5%, but chose some strategic locations like, in the heading, in subheadings and in bottom as well. In the meta-title and meta-descriptions too. Dont know much about the structure of your site, but if you are working on Wordpress then try Yoast. By the way you can also try to add some indirect keywords like, Wolds most Famous Dog try google trends and find out the keyword that remain trendy in the same months in last few years.

It will not be overkill but I would use different keyword variations to get better results.

    EX:
best dog, best puppy, best pet
    dog reviews, dog overview etc.
