Hi!
I have read many guides(@davids355 https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/seo-guide-for-2017-building-and-ranking-sites.959735/ and @phpbuilt PHPBUILT'S ON-PAGE SEO GUIDE; @Nargil recommended it :)) and I found that keyword density should be low.
Now my main keyword density is 0,34%
I have increased and decreased keyword density, but keyword is not rank never on top 30.
Partial match keywords ranks on top 10 and some on top 3.
Now my position is 98, before with keyword density 1,2% it was 60.
I have checked google top 30 keyword density; average is 2,12

Should I increase my keyword density to 2%? But 2% seems like over optimising.

What have you done in terms of the key areas like title, meta description, h1, h2, h3, alt tags etc?

Right now keyword is presented one time in title, meta description, H1, H2 tag and alt tag.

You could try changing this - across all of those key elements have a mix of “keyword”, partial match, related term(s) etc. Rather than exact match on every element.

Also check what other sites in the niche are doing in that respect.

Ahrefs done a study some time back which indicated google will often rank sites for terms when they’re not mentioned at all in title for example.

I’ve also had good results on some sites making similar changes.
