keyword density problem

So, I made an article and I include my keywords in it. I used a online Keyword density analyzer tool and it shows me the percent of my first 3 keywords. I just want to make sure that are under 2%

Though, now I have a keyword like this: word 2 word

when I put the text in any keyword density analyzer tool it shows me 0%
If I put only the the 2 words from the keyword (without digit 2) it shows me a percent of over 3%. Is this the real value of my initial keyord word 2 word ?

Should be close enough, don't over-fret about keyword density. Be natural, and you'll be rewarded.

Its because the tool you are using doesn't count/read one or two letter words.
