Keyword dance with google

Hi everyone,

I am wondering how i can rank for a keyword on a page, where i used hat word once only and the page, which I use to actually target that keyword, doesnt rank for it at all?

The website is new, 3 month in google. Some main keywords are going up and some, like the one mentioned, just do not come up at all or google indexes the wrong page.

Any suggestions?
