Hi guys, i would like to seek your advice.

Let's say i'm trying to rank for the keyword 'nice table' and the top 10 competitors only target the keyword 'table'(on page and site title). The number #1 is an authority site btw. Would it be possible to outrank them?

With time and skills, yes.

But how much time?
I depends on the competition.

Have better backlinks and better content than them.

Everything is outrankable with patience and/or $$$.

I agree with Breck. It depends on what sort of time and resources that you have. Anything can be beaten. What are your competitors metrics (PA, DA, TF)?

Check How many backlinks your comp have and if there is no Videos in your comp site, create one video and upload to youtube and use it in your website. create catchy titles and have good article.

It depends on the keyword. If the keyword were something like "crazy chicken racing soup" and the 1st page results were only targeting "crazy racing in a soup", then you would probably have an easier time targeting that keyword assuming the rest of the SERPs checks out (e.g., no sites with sitelinks, no Google Entities, no/low-ranking Google Images, no Google Shopping, etcetera)

Do you want the exact match "nice table" or the general match "nice table"? And yes you can. You can outrank anyone by applying principles.
