Keyword competition and CPC question

I'm checking some keywords using Google's adword keywork tools and traffic estimator.

And I kinda know that Competition is about how many advertisers are competing for that KW. But the thing is, for some KWs, the competition is listed as 0, or some super low like 0.03. Ok, so maybe there isn't any interest from advertisers. But then, if you search the same KWs in Traffic estimator, they list CPC of like $1.0 or more still.

How come? Which one should I trust?
And how about if the competition is not 0, but very low like 0.2, is it accurate enough to try to rank that KW for adsense?

Any other free site/tool out there to check Competition or CPC?
(I don't have Market samurai or Traffic travis ... )

Always go with keywords with high adwords competition if you're targeting adsense.. And you can get Market Samurai's trial from here When the trial expires just use a new email ID to get the trial

Err, ya, I got the MS trial before already.
Does MS pull different data than Google?
Traffic Travis (I actually have free version) seems to just use GOogle keyword tool.

there is a free full version of traffic travis pro somewhere on this forum if you are interested

you know google state that what you see there is just an estimate of what you can get and not the real one?
