Keyword Articles - How To?

Running an article business is hard as is, but what's even harder is when a clients sends you keywords for articles to be written on a topic that you don't know anything about. A keyword that even when you try to do some research on Google you hardly come up with anything that you can use to create the article. I am wondering is there any way that you guys are still able to deliver a good articles to the client.

What's even worst is when they send you the different keywords and the other keywords are just as hard as the first one. How do you guys do it I would like to know? Do you just tell the client that this is a topic outside of the niches that you write in or do you just do it?

I'm happy to say that I think that I've figured out a way. Lets say that the client has a keyword like employment law attorneys nyc. Using that keyword I would create a line like this "if you think that you have been violated you may need the help of employment law attorneys. Nyc offers some of the best lawyers when it comes to employment law". That way when I type a line like that I am still able to capture the keyword.

I heard someone talk about using the backlinks of aged domains by just finding the angle at which the money site would be related to the subject of the aged domain. If the money site is about wine and the aged domain is about cosmetics you write articles about models who drink, the glamour of the jetset parties, how drinking can give you wrinkles or any other subject that combines the two worlds.
I think you mostly just have to shake the feeling that what you write is a bit too convenient to be credible.

Research is unfortunately the only way to approach it without making it look like it was half-assed. Sorry I know this doesn't help much
