Keys to rank nationally?

I noticed that I am ranking very highly for my German keyword in Google US.

That said I am not as effective on Google Germany and Google Austria.

My twitter is #1 on Google US for the keyword but only #4 in Austria.

My youtube is #5 on Google US for the keyword but only #30 or so in Austria

What is the key to rank nationally?

Try using country tld, its ranks better than others. Like .in ranks better in Google.co.in, tested myself with 2 sites. For social media try to build few links from country tld.
