SO here is the video of Kendrick lamars verse on Big Seans song - Control http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SaMreUKk5Fk check it out in this song he states the truth, other rappers are his competition and he has love for em but wants to "murder them" aka take all their fans. He isnt dissing anyone and kendrick knew this was goin to stir up motion in the hip hop world. THIS is the BEST publicity stunt he couldve pulled. Just searching "Control response" on youtube you see atleast 5 songs dissing kendrick giving him FAME as these rappers make idiots out of themselves dissing him. Kendrick is the best rap MARKETER right now i have no doubt that he knows exactly what hes doing. The real question is whether or not he will go back and single handly rip apart every rapper that responds or if he shakes it off. This is why i love hip hop. What do you have to say about this situation? SPEAK your mind.

Yes Kendrick's "Control" verse practically went viral. I agree it was a very smart move on his end. Its all the hip hop world is talking about. Iv'e even seen a "Hitler" video response. It also reminds me of the stunt that rapper 50 Cents pulled off (How To Rob A Rapper) at the primary stages of his music career.

Um yes its a good thing he did that smart move but I don't think he just did it for marketing sake he was Rap MVP last year. I think that he did it to wake up the "RAP Game " because most people Lupe and Wayne said from there own mouth that hip hop is weak and don't know where it will be in 20 years which I agree because long story short. Rap has become a lifestyle versus a art form. Rap is still young 40 years old to be exact its in the middle of fork in the road point. What happens in the next 3 to 5 years will determine Hip Hop future.

@tymillz yes reminds me of 50 this newcomer is gonna do big things.

@yugimutou Agreed he wanted people to wake up but "Lupe and Wayne" are not the ones to say the rap game is weak as they are at the center of the cause.

50 cent used to pull this type of stuff too in the past if I remember correctly

Kendrik is a very talented rapper and he has a bright future ahead of him. at least now the other rappers will start to make good music to compete with each other and bring rap back alive again

Wayne yes. but tell me this doesn't have substance and is weak rap game shit.....Lupe isn't at the center of the cause...
