I have a niche site, and an unrelated blog. Both under my real name in bluhost / blogger respectively. At what number of sites does it become a problem if they're on the same name / ip?

So far not much blackhat has been done on either (little bit of link building), but if I wanted to do some later, what do I have to keep my sites safe from being discovered? I've read a bit about unique C-Class IP's and different hosting accounts for each site you have but I'm looking for more of a specific guide. Lots of threads on theory of expired domains, etc, but not a lot on the technicalities of it.

I'm not going out and building private blog networks (yet), or anything similar. I just want to know at what number of sites on the same ip / info becomes a problem.
