    Hi,

Does anyone else sometimes get a bit tired? Like you know you should be doing work but you just can't be bothered.

Does anyone have any tips on how to push past the procrastination? I read on the internet everyday about people who work 15 hour days and they have achieved so much! I sometimes feel quite inferior!

    How do you keep going?

    Any tips gratefully received!

I leave my house for a bit. Sometimes I do some window shopping, sometimes I get a beer at my local bar, sometimes I go for a walk, sometimes I go for a drive.

When I come back I feel a bit refreshed and use the oppurtunity to crack out some work. If the feeling persists I might just take a whole day off.

Here's a gem: "Do the work" by Steven Pressfield

Short read and straight to the point. If you want to dig deeper I encourage you to read "The Now Habit" by Neil Fiore I believe

I just went through Tony Robbin's Personal Power II program and it was mind blowing. I'm big on self-help an self improvement, so I don't know if it's for you, but it definitely helped me. Understanding why your brain does the things it does and makes the decisions it makes has really helped me UNDERSTAND what's going on in down times/negative times. Then I'm able to react better cause I know WHY it's happening, versus just letting myself feel depressed.

Concentrate on the end goal. What is the real reason you want to be successful? What do you need to do to achieve it?

You will get fresh drive by answering these questions.

If you are physically tired that could be a health problem holding you back. If you are just not motivated/bored it is because you have too many distractions or ideas that you'd rather be doing than work. Take the rest of the day off (as its like 8pm back in the UK) and take a quick 30 minutes to write a list of things you can finish tomorrow. Then just have the list in-front of you and keep working through it like a robot, works wonders.

I think it's more of a habit and lifestyle.

Some people can not work without a supervisor hovering over their head, these kind of people are not always in the CEO group while go getters who know what they want go after it at all cost even if they have to work all day with no one to monitor them.

The best thing you can do is to create a time table schedule for yourself and work with it.

This way, if you are not working you will know it.

I do this myself, there's a lovely cycle track not far from where I live - really peaceful.
