On a particular website, I have a situation where visitors hit my pages and quickly see the link they're after and so don't stick around for long.
I'm thinking of - not 'burying' the link, exactly - but embedding it further down the page, so visitors stays on site longer, reading/scanning the page and encountering more potential money-making methods along the way to finding the outgoing link, which is actually unlikely to bring a return.
I hope that made sense. Just wondering if this would increase the engagement rate.
