Keeping old post or start fresh

I have a website and the current blog address on the website is something like abc/blog/abc-blog/post-title , now I want to move and make the blog address as abc/blog/post-title , Shall I keep my old blog posts for use as I have to create around 500 redirects and the matter in these blog posts are also old news.


Shall i start fresh and create new posts or place redirection for old posts.

it all depends.. do you have some google traffic and some good rankings for particular keywords? If so, then you might wish to redirect the ranking posts.. If you don't have any of those i think you can safely start on a fresh
