Keeping comments in the "Top Comments"

Hi guys, just wondering how long your comments stick for. I've had mixed results, on popular videos they stay in the top rated for less than an hour (nikie minaj/justin beiber) and on medium size videos they stay for a few hours (5-12). What techniques do yo guys use to ensure that you keep the top spot?

Popular video's + Spam comment, You'd be lucky to have it stick for 15 minutes.

If your niche is obvious spam, People will thumb it down right away.

Also on viral video's the top comments clear, Not sure whats the interval yet but even if you have 100 thumbs up on your comment on a viral video, It'll get cleared so new top comments can get up there.

Mine usually stay up 12 -24 hours on popular video, and bring in a lot of traffic.
Methods, I use VPN and change proxy everytime I log in with different accounts, then thumb up the videos I comment on, log out, do the same thing.

12 - 24 Hours on a viral video is impossible, Not even a non-spam comment lasts that long on a video getting 10 comments every 5 minutes.

Thats true, but one popular vevo videos my comments last about 15+ hours, I have no idea why that is but it works. I was looking at google analytics realtime and had almost 120+ people active on my site at one point, going to try it out with a viral page tonight to see how much damage I can do

hey guys, do you think a completely non-spam comment will last? for example, what if you sneakily referred to another video on youtube, without giving the link? would it stick to the top, or will it rotate out to make room for another top comment?

It will always rotate for new top comments on viral video's whether it's spam or not.
