Keeping a tiger as a pet?

I think you will eventually regret it. Tigers are NOT meant to be house pets and they belong in the wild
 
Horrible idea. I would love to put u in a cage.

Leave the Tiger in its natural habitat.

Why do you think they are kept caged? - wild animals are not toys
 
Keeping an exotic animal, and especially a predator, is a big responsibility. If you are ready to take on this responsibility and provide the animal with the conditions it needs and will feel comfortable - why not.

Regarding the ethics of this issue - each person has his own vision of "ethics". Not all zoos keep animals in good conditions, and in the wild they meet with poachers, this issue can be looked at from different angles. But the responsibility for the behavior and condition of the animal should be only on the person who decided to get this animal.

I agree :D I remember a story from Tyson, where he offered a zookeeper 10.000 USD to open the cage so he can fight a silver back gorilla. They literally had to explain it, like to a 5 year old, why that is not a good idea and that they can not let him do it.

A chimp is 4x stronger than humans, I can't even imagen the strength of a gorilla.

Lol I guess using Tyson as an example wasn't smart. I'm sure he had a lot of help with taking care of the tigers as well.

And I heard that story myself, made me laugh. Don't get me wrong, in his prime he was a beast, but a gorilla would literally rip him apart.

Yeah, did you know that Zoos have a kill first animal if a break out happens? And guess which animal, Chimps! They are crazy, really terrifying. Now gorillas are not as crazy, but definitely stronger, Tyson even in his prime is not a match for a silverback gorilla.

All that in mind, still would have paid a PPV ticket to see it :anyway:
