keep adding pbn links - but rank not moving

i am adding pbn links to my site, from my own network, but rank is not moving, and in many cases going down. Any one have any suggestions?

Might be any number of problems:

  • On page might be an issue.
  • PBN links might be poor quality or not relevant.
  • Backlinks anchors might be overoptimized
  • User experience might be poor
You could create some supporting articles that link to the main article, sending some links to these might boost your rankings. You may also just need to wait it out.
 
It depends on many factors. Quite challenging to rank a competitive keywords for this you need a strong and quality backlinks. In this case you can also add some long-tail and low competition keywords as a secondary ones.
 
When you type in what you want to rank for what sites pops up?
 
when did u start on your current link building journey?

do realize that we had one major update in early june and one around late june. so you might be impact because of those 2 updates
 
Bounce rate is making an affect apparently, my mate runs about 300 customer sites and hes saying the stats serp etc are up and down every day he looks.
 
How much time passed after you put the pbn links on your site?
 
You need to give some time after building the links from your PBN, they need to get indexed and the ranking will come to improve in a gradual way. Stop building more as the quantity doesn't matter if you are looking to maintain the site for the long term. Also, concentrate on building niche wise quality guest post backlinks to boost the authority as well.
 
It can be more factors such as bad content on your site, you are using wrong anchors .. but most likely its a bad PBN site. First you need a top quality domain even if you have to spend $500+ for 1 domain, then you need at least 50 or more relevant niche articles and let the site age 6+ months. Once it start getting traffic it will look like a real website which should be your goal! Then when adding keywords don't use only exact match, brand keywords are enough if topics are relevant on pbn and main site you want to rank. If it still doesn't go up then check some other things that you are probably doing bad. Also, if you publish article and it doesnt even get in top 50 without any links, then your domain have no strenght at all or content very bad, or keywords simply too hard and you have tough competition.
 
Your PBN blogs have Unique content or spun content ?
Are you using different name server?
How many backlinks do you build for your site?
 
Test your pbns, pick a site on page 5-9 on serps, send pbn link to it and see the result
