KDP Vs. POD, which one is better?

KDP actually requires you to produce a book.
Sure, there are KDP subcategories that require very little content.
I’m talking about coloring books, lists—that kind of thing.
The problem with those subcategories is either there’s a lot of competition or there’s not enough demand.
This leaves you with POD.
Print-on-demand has a lot more going for it.
A lot of people think that you have to come up with these fancy designs to sell on POD.
Well, I know somebody who makes 5 figures every single month—month after month, year after year.
And, all he does is post text designs.
You read that right—text in basic fonts form his design, nothing else!
No fancy graphics, no backgrounds, just text on somebody’s chest.
He only focuses on shirts, and the proof is in the screenshots that he shared with me.
The money is there.
The big challenge is which subniche of text designs you should devote your time to.
That is the big challenge with POD.
And, this is really what makes it such a lucrative source of passive income.
Your investment is your brain power and time.
It’s not your money; it’s not your graphic design skills.
It’s all about research and your willingness to produce tons of text designs.
The good news is, according to my friend, once you see something that works, you just basically just make copies of that or variations of it.
I’ve been interested in POD for quite some time, and I’ve been spending my time looking for niches of sayings or quotes.
I suggest that you look in that direction.
The market is huge so I’m not really shooting myself in the foot by giving this away—it’s so big!
Your only capital is your willingness to research and, of course, you’re willingness to try.
There are tons of designs out there that are not making any money.
You have to be in it for the long haul.

Thanks very much, MBA is not in my country supported list. I dig into forum, a lot of people make their most money from MBA.

I've been doing KDP for a year now 1241 "books" and gave up on it it still makes me as much as it did when I was working on it $30 - $45 a month

There are a lot of factors that go into deciding which one can make the most.
Basically, pick one or pick both, and get working on them. If you want to make $2k a month, then it will easily take you a year to find out.
You have to basically get to the above-average amount of other vendors stock on these platforms.

The barrier of entry for POD is super low which means there’s a lot of competition. You will either need to make a better design to others or be the first to pick up a trend. That’s why it’s kinda hard to call this business “passive”. If you really want to make some serious money there you will have to delegate tasks in order to scale it.

from my experience, just using free addon on chrome. Like productor, Ds amzn quick view, dst.
u can create a ton books with quality keyword. And blash upload with kdpuploader addon.
more quality kw, more money.

But how do you market pod? do people really just randomly open red bubble and buy stuff from there? sounds strange to me
